This second entry, in particular, is very interesting. It shows that the health bureaucrats are only interested in a doctor’s obedience to their dictates, not in the patient’s health.
I’ve been reading elsewhere that there are a lot of doctors and nurses quitting because of the requirement for them to be vaccinated, or they are being fired from their jobs. It looks like the health bureaucrats are now trying to destroy what’s left of Canada’s health care systems (why else would they be pushing doctors and nurses out in the middles of a ‘crisis’, which will leave hospitals even more short-staffed?).
So what’s next? What are they going to do when there are so few doctors and nurses left that the sick cannot be treated in the hospitals? Are they just going to shut down the hospitals and medical centres and put everyone on leave without pay (except themselves, of course…they’ll ensure they keep getting paid, I’m sure)?
Before Covid, the Ontario health system was already over capacity. I know, due to spending a lot of time in Ontario hospitals with my parents, that when you went to the emergency ward many hours of waiting was normal. Then, once you were admitted into the emergency ward it would be possible that you’d be on a bed in the hall for at least a day (sometimes more) while you waited for a bed to open up in a room. Even if you weren’t in a hospital and you needed tests, or elective procedures, it could be months before you could get things done (The Fraser Institute provides some statistics here: https://www.fraserinstitute.org/studies/waiting-your-turn-wait-times-for-health-care-in-canada-2020 . It has become obvious that we can no longer rely on the government to run a healthcare system. We must immediately set up of a parallel private health system, just as some other nations have (see Wikipedia for the mix of public/private health system options in other countries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_care_systems_by_country). The quicker this happens the better, because we are going to need backup as the government-run system is quickly falling apart before our eyes.
I would also just remind you that the Covid recovery rate is well over 99% for both vaccinated and unvaccinated. The only pandemic going on is a pandemic of fear caused by the same government bureaucrats who seem intent on destroying our health system.
For those doctors and nurses who continue to work in the system, thank you for trying to keep the lights on. For those doctors and nurses who have left the system due to the dictates of our medical tyrants, thank you for your courage.
